We hope everyone has had a relaxed and enjoyable school break. Throughout the upcoming 10-weeks, students at Harkaway Hills College will be challenged to grow in teamwork, in their sense of justice, as well as in their love of learning through a number of exciting programs and initiatives that we will be hosting this term.

Athletics Day – Friday 19 July, 9.30am – 1.30pm

The inaugural Harkaway Hills College Athletics Day will take place on 19 July 2019 at Casey Fields Regional Athletic Centre, 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Rd, Cranbourne East. The school day will begin at the track at 9.30am and finish at 1.30pm.

Students are to come in their Sports Uniforms, and once again are most welcome to wear coloured shirts, face paint etc. to support their Houses. House points will be given out for team spirit! Please bring water bottles and a snack for recess. Hot dogs and fruit will be available for lunch – these will be free, however for those who are able it would be appreciated to receive a gold coin donation to help us cover costs.

Virtues Talk and Pre-School Story Time – Thursday 1 August, 2.30pm

Parents are invited to attend out Virtues Talk on Thursday 1 August at 2.30pm, which will focus on the Term 3 Virtue of Justice. Pre-school aged students are welcome to participate in Story Time while this talk is taking place.

Please also note that as part of our Term 3 Motto program, there will be a small Justice project for students throughout the term. The details will be inside their Motto Books which you will receive in Week 2. It is going to be a wonderful opportunity for children to grow in this virtue!

Key Parent Function – Friday 16 August, 7.30pm

Due to unforeseen circumstances our guest speaker Gerard O’Shea can no longer make the original date for the Term 3 Key Parent Function. Please note the new date is Friday 16 August at 7.30pm. The KPF will be held at Harkaway Hills College.

Step into High School Information Session – Thursday 12 September, 6.30pm

Harkaway Hills College is moving towards High School in 2022! Parents for girls in grades 2-4 are invited to an Information Evening on Thursday 12 September at 6.30pm at Harkaway Hills College. During this evening, we will introduce our plans as we prepare your daughters for the leap into Secondary School. This is also a wonderful opportunity to invite friends who are looking at High School options for their daughters in 2022 and beyond. More details to come!
