Fortnightly Review: Term 2 Week 4

>> Learning together, wherever we are!

We are continuing to connect with each other and learn in unison at home and school. Given the current restrictions we are not running any of our special events this term, however we continue to find new ways to make learning fun! Thank you to all our parents and teachers for keeping us learning and thriving.

>> A special visitor at school

Last week, Charlotte brought her pet pig to school, and the girls in Year 3/4 tuned in via Zoom for this special News session. The pig even had a little visit to the Prep classrooms. What fun!

>> Thank you to our Mums!

Children at home and at school are preparing for a very special Mother’s Day. They have been writing notes and preparing surprise gifts for Sunday. Well done Mums, you have definitely earned a wonderful Mother’s Day this year!

>> Storytime online

As we are unable to host PreSchool Storytime this term, Mrs Broadsmith read a story online for preschoolers at home. Tune in for our next Storytime on Thursday 14 May at 10:00 am. The story will be streamed at this link: https://youtu.be/bkEZWTcCA5g

>> Key Parent Function online

A big thank you to Maureen Coyne for presenting an excellent address for our Term 2 Key Parent Function which was streamed live on Friday 24th April. The talk will continue to be available for a short time, please contact the School Office for the link.

>> Motto: Focus on Hope

We are all gaining so much from our virtue focus on Hope this term. The children have loved spotting the word hope during their reading time, and we have used every opportunity to talk about what it means to be thankful and hopeful. Let’s keep it up, we are still in the midst of uncertainty and it is important for all of us to keep positive and hopeful.

>> Some photos from around the School grounds

What a wonderful fortnight it has been.
