Remote Learning

The lockdown announced on the Friday of Week 2 saw students working from home from Monday 15th – Wednesday 17th February.  Students prepared by taking home school work and materials, and on Monday they set to work at dining tables, kitchen benches, office desks and backyard tables.  On Shrove Tuesday many students cooked pancakes and some made ashes on Ash Wednesday.  Our students adapted to the unexpected change to routine and are to be commended for their efforts.

Atrium for Preschoolers

On Friday mornings, preschoolers gather in the Atrium, ready to begin their encounter in this tactile religion programme, based on scripture and liturgy and underpinned by the educational principles of Maria Montessori.   We thank Bronwyn and the helpers for making this possible.

Art Club

Having to wait an extra week to begin because of the lockdown didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the Junior and Advanced Art Club students.  They were very keen to get started this week, and have produced some fine pieces.

House Colours Day

Next Friday 5th March will be House Colours Day! Students can come to school in their Sports uniforms, with a touch of their House colour (e.g hair ribbons, coloured shirts, socks, face paint, hair spray – as long as it is all removed before Monday).  We are all looking forward to seeing the House points tally.
