>> Shrove Tuesday
This week, students learned about the Season of Lent and many of the classes had a special celebration to mark Shrove Tuesday. The students have been busy thinking of their prayer intentions and resolutions for Lent, and their commitment to living this season well is inspiring. Well done all!
>> Ash Wednesday
It was wonderful to see so many of our families at Mass on Ash Wednesday. Your presence really made the afternoon a beautiful memory for the children. The weather was kind to us, and the Mass was very peaceful. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Next year, our Ash Wednesday Mass will be in our new Chapel!
>> Learning about Space with Oreos
Take a look at the awesome work by Year 3/4 Girls as they recreated the cycle of the moon using Oreos. It was a fun (and tasty) activity!
>> Fun with Maths and History in Year 1
Year 1 students have had a wonderful fortnight of hands-on learning in Maths! Last week, they were also treated to a visit by Pat Coyne, grandfather of Jacob and Felicity Harradine. As part of the Year 1 History Unit, the children interviewed him about life when he was a child and made comparisons with their own life. Thank you Pat for visiting us!
