ICAS is an international standardised assessment that is run across most Australian schools every year. The assessment is highly competitive and challenging. For the first time, Harkaway Hills College entered Year 5-7 students in the 2022 ICAS assessments for Writing and English. The school performed exceptionally, and the following students received High Distinctions (top 1% of the nation) and Distinctions (top 10% of the nation): Julia K, Grace S, Anika C, Andrea P, Adrienne R, Christine S, Raquel C.
Incredibly, our little school had two students who received the highest score in the whole of Victoria for each paper!
Congratulations to Julia K, medal recipient for first place in ICAS English, and to Grace S, medal recipient for first place in ICAS Writing. This is a huge achievement for Julia and Grace, and for our small school.
