What a massive effort from our 12 champions who represented Harkaway Hills College for the very first time at the District Athletics Carnival in Knoxfield. From our small team of 12 students, we received 13 ribbons, and 4 of our students will proceed into the Divisional Track and Field competition!
A huge congratulations to the following students:
Cyprian Aliva – participation in 100m, 200m, shot put
Tom Anderson – participation in discus
Claire Burger – 1500m (1st place), 200m (2nd place), 100m (2nd place) and team relay (2nd place)
Valeria Castro – 800m (2nd place)
Charlotte Elliott – 1500m (3rd place)
Theresa Jarrouje – participation in discus and shot put
Noah Peart – participation on 800m
Mariana Peralta – 800m (3rd place), 200m (2nd place), 100m (1st place) and team relay (2nd place) and participation in long jump
Sienna Sawyer – team relay (2nd place) and participation in 100m
Grace Sudjono – participation in long jump, discus and shot put
Sophie Thomas – 200m (1st place), 100m (2nd place) and team relay (2nd place)
Santino Tommasi – participation in 1500m, 100m, 200m and shot put
We may be small, but we can make a difference! Well done team.
