>> Second “Sounds of the Hills” Online Concert a Hit

Harkaway Hills College hosted our second “Sounds of the Hills” online concert on Friday 21st August, with over 30 performances by students and their families streamed from their homes. Thank you to all our performers and to Mrs Johanna Chavez for hosting this very successful celebration of music. It was a beautiful way to connect with our community during the lockdown, and a lovely way to end the school week.

>> Elvie’s Story Adventure Lunch with Year 1

This week Mrs Banana and Elvie hosted a storytime lunch with Grade One, to have fun with narratives. Elvie is a puppy who lives in the Grade One classroom. He likes to sit with the children whilst they work and has a mini roller coaster in the classroom which he rides on special occasions. Unfortunately, Miss Exton missed out on the storytime lunch, but Mrs Banana told her all about the fun that was had. The children listened to stories read by Mrs Banana whilst they ate their lunch. The children dressed in Elvie’s favourite colours – purple and brown. It was a fun day!
