What a wonderful experience we had at our Spanish Day celebration! This day was an opportunity for children to interact with the culture of the Spanish-speaking countries. We started with a handcraft session where children created amazing masks, paper animals, musical instruments and traditional food. There was also a flag parade accompanied by the traditional music of all the 21 Spanish-speaking countries.

The day went on with the presence of a Latin American music band that played music from different Spanish-speaking countries, accompanied by a Bolivian dancer who delighted us with a beautiful traditional costume. Finally, our Latin American families prepared a feast to share with the community a sample of their traditional cuisine. We thank all those who contributed so generously with their time and support.
